The Network encourages executive engagement in philanthropy through the examples of both peers and senior figures in both the private and public sector. The Bulldog Trust assists network members by connecting them with suitable charities, projects and social enterprises.
Network events are held every few months, at The Bulldog Trust headquarters in Two Temple Place. At the events individuals who are interested in using their knowledge and expertise to benefit the charitable/not-for-profit sector are given the opportunity to meet and be inspired by those who are already doing so.
Events consist of a series of short talks from high profile, varied speakers. Network members include professionals from a wide background of industries including finance, law, media and the public sector as well as representatives from intermediary organisations working within the sector. The Trust keeps in regular email contact with members and utilises its extensive contacts within charitable and social enterprise organisations to assist in matching members to suitable projects or causes e.g. trusteeships, strategy projects, marketing advice etc.
