The Network encourages executive engagement in philanthropy through the examples of both peers and senior figures in the City, industry and public sector. The Bulldog Trust assists network members in connecting with suitable charities, projects and social enterprises.
Network events are held every few months, at The Bulldog Trust headquarters, 2 Temple Place. The events provide individuals interested in how their knowledge and expertise can help, with the opportunity to meet and be inspired by those with experience of using their professional skills to support charity. At each event, there are usually 3 to 4 short talks from high profile, varied speakers.
The dates for events in 2010 are as follows (usually 6.30pm-8.30pm):
11 February, 22 April, 28 September, 1 December (tbc)

The Bulldog Trust met Blues in Schools early in its development. Their success engaging children, who had been excluded from mainstream schooling, through cookery lessons with professional chefs was inspirational, but their need to ad hoc fundraise was severely limiting. Bulldog worked with BiS to focus their plans and awarded a three year grant, sufficient to ensure staff could build their model for replication in others schools.
