A different way to give
The trust, as well as providing financial backing, likes to get involved with the organisations it supports, utilising the broad experience of the trustees. Business expertise, legal advice or simply a fresh perspective have proved as valuable as financial assistance. Since its inception in 1983 the trust has helped a broad range of projects and is confident its support has been worth more than its monetary contributions.
Helping donors
The Bulldog Donor Fund is a bespoke service that provides advice and encouragement to individuals wishing to make substantial philanthropic donations. Meanwhile the Donors’ Forum helps members get the most out of giving by providing a community in which to share ideas and experiences.
Two Temple Place
The Bulldog Trust is fortunate to own the stunning building at Two Temple Place since 1999. Home to both the trust and the donors’ forum, the building is also run as an exclusive events venue by the trust’s subsidiary, Two Temple Place Ltd, and generates a substantial income for charitable distribution.
In 2007 the Trust devised the Bulldog Portrait Bursary with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, to support the study and practice of portraiture. Each year the prize offers one promising portrait artist £5000 and the opportunity to be mentored by members of the RP for a year.
