A different way to give
Since its inception in 1983 the Trust has helped a broad range of projects and is confident its support has been worth more than its monetary contributions. This has been achieved by the Trust becoming actively involved with the organisations it supports, utilising the broad experience of the trustees. Business expertise, legal advice or simply a fresh perspective have all proved as valuable as the financial assistance that has been provided.
Helping donors
The Bulldog Donor Fund is a bespoke service that provides advice and encouragement to individuals wishing to make substantial philanthropic donations. The Engaging Experience Philanthropy Network inspires and supports those individuals interested in becoming involved in the charitable/not-for-profit sector by connecting them with organisations that require their professional skills.
Two Temple Place
The Trust is delighted to be opening Two Temple Place to the public in October 2011 as London’s newest public exhibition space. The building was acquired by the Trust in 1999 and has been run as an exclusive events venue by the trust’s subsidiary, Two Temple Place Ltd, until now. This will be the first time the building has been open to the public.
In 2007 the Trust devised the Bulldog Portrait Bursary with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, to support the study and practice of portraiture. Each year the prize offers one promising portrait artist £5000 and the opportunity to be mentored by members of the RP for a year.
