Giving can be a solitary activity. Therefore the trust established the Donors’ Forum to provide donors with a relaxed and enjoyable opportunity to meet and discuss what they are doing. The confidential setting is designed to encourage donors to share their funding experiences and problems openly - and offer each other inspiration.
Events include regular talks from philanthropists, charities of interest, and professional experts as well as peer dinners and receptions. The forum exists to serve its members and the trust encourages donors to suggest events and speakers.
Forum members are able to nominate charities for the discounted use of the stunning amenities at Two Temple Place, the trust’s headquarters.
Those operating Bulldog donor funds are automatically made members of the forum and the trust welcomes outside members, who are invited to join subject to a donation to the trust.
The Donors’ Forum will launch in Autumn 2009.

In the 1990s the new international medical charity MERLIN was struggling to cope with the huge demand for help it was receiving. The administrative and financial support that Bulldog provided “brought cash, coherency and credibility to the organisation” (Nicholas Mellor, Founder) which is now poised to become one of the world’s leading medical aid agencies.
